Popular rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, also known as Odumodublvck, has claimed that some musicians in the Nigerian music industry employ voodoo to get popular songs.
In an episode of the Tea With Tay podcast, Odumodublvck claimed that it is hard to get a hit song, noting that some artists never get a hit song in their entire career.
He commended Burna Boy, Wizkid and Davido for their consistency in dropping singles throughout the years.
“It’s not easy to get a hit song.
Sometimes some even do jazz just to get one.
“That’s why you see some artists crashing out when they can’t get a hit.
“Burna Boy, Wizkid and Davido have been dropping hit songs constantly for years.
You must respect that.
Some musicians never receive one hit song in their whole lives," he said.
