Rangers, the Nigerian champions, have announced the nominees for the October Goal of the Month award, AFRI MEDIA reports.
Midfielder Chidiebere Nwobodo was nominated for a spectacular goal in Rangers’ 2-2 draw with Barau FC at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano on October 11.
But Nwobodo netted from the edge of the box late on to earn a point for the visitors.
Rangers’ winger Emo James has been nominated for his superb goal in the first leg match in the second preliminary round of the CAF Champions League against Algerian side MC Alger.
James sprinted from the Rangers half to the MC Alger box and blasted the ball into the net.
