Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho taunted Racing Santander fans after his team’s 3-0 LaLiga victory on Sunday.
Mourinho aimed a dig at the home crowd for their ignorance of the laws of the game.
"I love this stadium and I love the Racing fans," he remarked.
They don’t come to attend a play or watch a movie, they come to participate in the match and make it very tough for the opponents.
“They protested against every decision of the referee, especially because they did not know the rules well.
And of course, I get it, because the rules are so much different.”
The excitement in the crowd reached fever pitch when Racing Santander thought they had won a way back into the game from the penalty spot.
However, a VAR intervention eventually reversed the decision, a move which prompted rage among the home supporters.
