VeryDarkMan, VDM, close friend Kokopee has disclosed how he got himself embroiled in the rift between the activist and singer Davido.
VDM disclosed that he was asked by Kokopee why he was getting himself involved in the disagreement between Davido and Kokopee.
Kokopee has now spoken after Nigerians took to the internet to call him out for reportedly keeping mute on the disagreement, doubting his allegation that Davido approached him about the subject.
He stated he was not in the picture when Davido and VDM became friends or when the singer brought the activist to Lagos.
But he got engaged when difficulties started to occur between them.
Kokopee said VDM called him to complain about what Davido supposedly did.
He said he recommended the activist to reach out to Israel or Ubi and Davido also phoned him to discuss the matter.
Kokopee said he tried to explain to Davido why VDM felt betrayed but the singer didn’t agree with his answer.
He further revealed that VDM later asked him why he was carrying Davido’s matter on his head and whether the singer promised him a free music collaboration.
Kokopee said he thereafter took a step back so that he would not be accused of betraying VDM.
He said he privately urges the activist to be careful with his association with Davido but cannot force two adults to settle their disagreements.
In response to those who denied that Davido contacted him, Kokopee emphasised that he did not share the details of their private chat.
“I didn’t expose the content of my chat with Davido and Davido is not too big to message me,” he claimed.
He also responded to his doubters: “I’m only humble, not hungry.”
“I too small for Davido to message?” Kokopee continued his challenge to his critics.
