Nigerian Singer and Entrepreneur Oluwatosin Ajibade also known as Mr Eazi has stated he got an opportunity to meet American Hip-Hop Icon and Business Mogul Jay-Z but he missed it.
In a recent interview with BBC Focus On Africa, Mr Eazi revealed he got an invitation to attend the 'Lion King' movie premiere in 2019 after featuring on Beyonce's 'Lion King: The Gift' album.
Jay-Z was also billed to attend the premiere but he couldn't make it because he was booked to perform at a concert the same date.
It would have been so fantastic to meet Jay-Z, he said, because he sees him as his mentor in music and business.
Mr Eazi has said he still hasn’t given up hope of meeting Jay-Z one day.
"I look up to Jay-Z in music and business.
I worked with Beyoncé on the music project Lion King.
I was heading to the movie premiere.
Jay-Z was gonna be there. But I was already hired to play a show.
“So I was like, ‘Okay, if I’m supposed to meet Jay-Z, it would happen another time,’ he said.
He also revealed that he currently has enterprises in more than 20 nations in Africa.
I have direct and indirect economic activities in more than 20 countries in Africa at the moment.
“We are investing in sports today, but we are thinking long term,” added Mr Eazi.
