Nollywood actor Baba Ijesha has insisted he was framed in the child sexual abuse case that landed him in prison.
The actor maintains that he’s not a paedophile and others conspired against him.
In an interview with Agbaletu Uncensored, he said that he only knew the definition of the word paedophile when he was in prison.
He said: “I’m not a paedophile, I didn’t even know what it meant until I was in prison.
The actor also disputed the story of the incident, saying he had never been to the house where he was filmed.
He said: “The house I was caught on camera at, I’ve never been there before.
Baba Ijesha also recalled what he told his accusers in prison after he was accused of deflowering a seven-year-old girl with a key.
“They said I used a key to rape a 7year old.
I told them that I also have a girl child, when is the time they should do likewise to her if I really did it. “I placed that curse,” he continued.
He also said that he had been notified about the incident earlier and only remembered the person’s name afterward.
