Northern Islamic cleric, Mallam Saleh Muhammad Jimeta, has taken a dig at President Bola Tinubu.
Speaking in Hausa in a Facebook video, Jimeta also cursed President Tinubu over his recent comment equating himself to Moses and Nigeria to Egypt.
Jimeta said this while giving the Friday Khutbah (Islamic sermon) to his audience in a video that was trending on Facebook Sunday.
The preacher stated Tinubu’s statement is a blasphemy against Islam and Allah and that any person who equates himself with Prophet Moses must be condemned.
He said Tinubu has no right to compare the situation in Nigeria to that of Egypt and himself to Moses because Moses was a Prophet of Allah.

Who is Tinubu to compare himself with Moses? “This is an insult on Islam,” stated the preacher.
He urged on Nigerians to pray against the Tinubu government, saying the President has failed to address the misery in the country and is now uttering profane utterances.
The preacher's video went viral on social media, sparking tremendous reactions.
Many Nigerians condemned the cleric for cursing the President, while others backed him.
