The Taraba State Civil Service Commission has refuted a viral message inviting applicants for an alleged online examination, calling it as fraudulent and illegitimate.
The Commission warned that the communication, which was sent out on Sunday, was not from the Commission and asked applicants and members of the general public to disregard it in a public notice signed by its Permanent Secretary, Mr David Nyah.
It urged applicants to rely on the information and statements it issued on its official recognised channels.
The Commission also stated that an official statement on the situation would be released within the week.
It also advised the people to verify the veracity of information before sharing it to prevent the circulation of misleading reports.
